Imagine for a moment what families face when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Their world is turned upside down. The bad news is that Childhood Cancer is on the rise. The good news is that you can do something about it. By purchasing the book It’s Christmas Again or by donating, you are joining the fight against Childhood Cancer. All proceeds benefit children battling with cancer.
Gaylon’s Dream is to give hope to Children with Cancer and their families that cancer is not always a death sentence. Join Book for Hope®, Inc. in bringing hope to so many children and their families.
Do your part in helping end Childhood Cancer.
Imagine having your whole world turned upside down. Imagine starting your day like any other day, only to end it as the worst day of your life. Imagine not knowing what you or your child’s future will look like. Imagine everything you are going through, the worries, and stress of everyday life coming into play. Who will pay the medical bills and support your family if you can’t work, due to taking care of your child who has just been diagnosed with Cancer?
Families going through Childhood Cancer don’t have to imagine this, they are living it. And this is where the “Just Imagine Walk” comes into play. “Just Imagine” a world where Childhood Cancer does not exist. Because of your support, we raise awareness for Childhood Cancer. Every dollar the walk brings in will go toward Childhood Cancer Research to potentially help save the life of a precious child. To learn more about the “Just Imagine Walk”, please continue to keep watching our website.
Our walk will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016! We have a great day planned for families at the Bob Noble Park in Paducah, KY…….see below for registration options. (please specify t-shirt size in the second line of the address.ust imagine

Families going through Childhood Cancer do not have to imagine this, they are living it. This is where the Just Imagine™ Walk comes into play. Every dollar the walk raises will be split 50/50 between Childhood Cancer Research and helping local families that are currently experiencing pediatric cancer with medical bills and other expenses.
In April, Kendra James, the mother of Kendall James, received and completed our required forms along with her pediatric oncologist. After the forms were submitted and reviewed, Kendall met all the requirements, to be considered as a candidate for assistance with expenses during her cancer treatment. Kendall will be receiving 50% of the proceeds from the walk this year. The other 50% of the proceeds will be going to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. specifically for Childhood Cancer Research.
We have a great day planned for families at Bob Noble Park, Shelter 16 in Paducah, KY for our 2nd Annual Just Imagine® Walk held on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. All activities and registration begin at 8:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m. Childhood Cancer survivors will lead the walk, as well as those that are walking in memory of a loved one. We would like to invite everyone to our Childhood Cancer Walk. It is hard to find someone that has not been touched by cancer in some way, whether it be a child, loved one, coworker, or friend. Please donate, walk as an individual, get teams together, or walk in honor or in memory of someone with or who has had cancer.
If you would prefer a hand written copy, please print off the attached form and mail along with a check.
